The Electric Subsidies Legislative Act (a.k.a. TESLA) [1]

Ideas

• All Data Centers need to supply their own electrical source - i.e. build nuclear plant, solar/wind farm, incinerator, &c. - and incorporate them with the grid.

• Centers using a greater % of electricity than the general populace must pay a rate x% above the residential or commercial buildings in the area.

• Support closed-loop systems to reduce water loss through evaporation and add incentives to re-use that heated water to heat nearby homes and other productive radiant heat uses.
